The act of drawing to designers is the most rudimentary act of visual communication. Though it a tool, I take delight in my sketching as a way of expressing both my thought processes as well as a way of revealing to myself the potential of possibilities in a project

"The day I stop dreaming is the day I die." — Soichiro Honda
During my internship at Honda R&D, I liked to doodle Hondas in my spare time. I also learned a lot about the life of Soichiro. Perhaps I've been sipping the Honda kool-aid too much, but I find his rags to riches story incredibly inspiring. Honda was a man who failed again and again and always gets back up, even when he had nothing but his dreams. Really adds weight to our motto, The Power of Dreams.
In a way, being at Honda taught me again how to dream, and to never give up hope.

Did I mention how much I love my car?
I drive a Toyota GT86. That car has been through thick and thin with me, and taken me everywhere. Over the years I have come to think of this vehicle almost as my best friend, and would doodle her constantly as I was homesick during my time at Carnegie Mellon

"IS THAT A SUPRA?!" 😂

I draw other things too, I swear!
Cars are the best way to practice drawing. They're both technically challenging to draw and visually pleasing to look at

A Warm Place
I often dream of buildings. It relaxes me to draw them.
